Everybody loves those artistic Google doodles. We all love it when the Google logo changes to celebrate or commemorate special events like festivals, National holidays, birthdays of famous people, scientific achievements and even election days the latest one for this 2014 season are 60 different FIFA World Cup Google Doodles. This new Google logo appeared everyday depicting the match(es) on the day and remained on the search engine's homepage untill the match is completed or either simple Google logo used as a character playing with footaball, sitting in a stadium watching match or on a couch.  Each logo depicts flags of two countries, and clicking on each image will bring up an instant Google Search for the FIFA World Cup Match Schedule.

For Google, the goal is to burnish its brand image and engage the legions of people who conduct more than a billion searches a day, without offending any of them.  Google subsidiary YouTube has also featured some custom logos to highlight special events occurring on the site; these have been unofficially nicknamed "Yoodles".

Because we all love Google Doodles so much but the problem is they change to normal Goole Logo the next day. However there's a way to change Google logo on homepage/search results page to our favorite logo with this Greasemonkey Script. This a clever little, unofficial Greasemonkey script from Google employee Tiffany Lane that will let anyone using the Firefox or Chrome web browsers personalize their Google homepage with those classic Doodles— all year round! You will still see the new doodles on special occasions.

Install On Firefox:

First make sure you are using Firefox and have Greasemonkey installed. Then go to the script source and you will be prompted to install it. The great thing about Greasemonkey is you don't even need to restart Firefox! To verify that the script is working go to Google and you should see an awesome Lego doodle in place of the regular Google logo.

Install On Chrome :

First install the Favorite Doodle extension on Chrome. After installing go to Google  and verify that the extension is working. To choose your favorite doodle: Click on the Google logo to get to the Doodle Gallery. From there click the button underneath your favorite doodle to set it as your favorite. You can change your favorite as often as you'd like. A few doodles are intentionally missing the favorite button due to licensing restrictions.
