Problem: You have just started a bblog and want to know if you new post has been indexed or not.
Solution: Search by typing site:"blogs' name". 




Search Within A Website

Problem: You read an interesting article about Facebook Tricks on Acidic Ginger, but you don't have the link and you can't remember the article's name or its author.
Solution: Search by typing "site:" followed by the url of the website and then add you search terms.




Fill In The Blanks

Problem: You read the line Don't count ____ chickens before ____ hatch but can't remember it completely.
Solution: Search by typing Don't count * chickens before * hatch i.e. put asterisk(*) in place of those blanks.




Search by File Type

Problem: You have a powerpoint presentation on Euclids' Geometry and you are searching by typing long keywords : powerpoint presentation on euclids' geometry .
Solution: Search by typing the topic name followed by "filetype:ppt".

Problem: You are planning a trip to India but you don't know how much american dollars you'll need.
Solution: Search by typing Dollar in INR




Find A GIF


Problem: You need an animated clipart for a banner.
Solution: Go to Google images > search image > Search Tools > Type >Animated.
