Mining CryptoCurrency with MinerGate

Here is another article on another popular mining pool available on the internet. Since the major exponential rise in the value or Bitcoin and other altCoins, CryptoCurrency has gained a lot of popularity in iterms of an investment option among public. Buying a crypto currency coin using physical centralised currency is an option, but since the currency is minable, the mining of crypto coin is an another option to earn a cryptocoin. It's like you are selling the computation power of your machine in return of crypto coin whose value might sore in coming months and years and has the potential of high returns.
Each mining pool is different in terms of software it offers, fees, features and customizations. In previous post i have discussed about NiceHash, while in this post i will be discussing "MinerGate", another crypto currency mining pool available on the internet.

Steps to setup your own MinerGate Mining in your Laptop/PC :
Unlike NiceHash, MinerGate requires registration.

1. Go to https://minergate.com/reg and Register.

2. Complete your profile and verify your email address.

3. Go to Downloads and select the apporipriate version based on your operating system.

4. Install and run the application.

5. Run the benchmark test first to benchmark your hardware. Benchmarking tests your hardware for the best algorithm to run on your machine in order to maximise your mining.

6. Now start mining and see the coins getting generated. 

Minergate automatically selects the best crypto coin to mine based on what coin has soared the most in past 1 hour. So in other words it does the hardwork for you, and you don't have to manually balance the mining portfolio.

Running MinerGate Software

You can login to the website and see the dashboard to know your estimated mined coins and other detailed information unlike Nicehash which shows the mined coins in the GUI itself.
